Ron & Joan started Marriage Mentoring Ministries, Inc., (MMMI) in August, 2004, after sensing God's call to be more proactive in helping prepare and grow marriages as well as proactively help stepfamilies in their quest to be successful. The McLains have been in full-time Christian ministry since 1974. They served for 7 years with Athletes in Action, the athletic arm of Campus Crusade for Christ; a combined eight years at two local churches as Pastor of Missions and Family Life; and 15 years at Link Care Counseling Center in Fresno , most recently as Director of Pastoral Care. Ron has a B.A. degree in Public Relations from San Jose State University and a M.A. Degree in Biblical Counseling from Tyndale Biblical Seminary in Ft. Worth , Texas . The McLains have four grown children, all residing in Fresno and three grandsons. |
