Marriage Mentoring Ministries, Inc.,
seeks to train couple mentors in the following areas:
Premarital Preparation
Weddings are for a day; marriage is for a lifetime! A mentoring couple will be trained to help an engaged couple prepare for marriage by starting with them three to six months before the wedding and staying with them at least one year after they are married and for a year after the birth of their first child.
Encourage & Strengthen Marriages
Trained Mentoring Couples will come alongside couples who are struggling and who need encouragement. Mentoring couples will have the maturity, the skills and the heart to care and truly make a difference, resulting in lower divorce rates and healthier families in our churches and communities.
Step Families & Support Groups
Stepfamilies make up a significant percentage of our church population. Mentor couples who have been remarried and have experienced the challenges of blending families will come alongside of younger stepfamilies to help encourage and strengthen them. Support groups will also be formed for mutual encouragement.
